Southeastern Alaska Distribution: Widespread.
Habitat: In peatlands at lower elevations, over wet rocks, in flushes and in wet tundra in the subalpine and alpine.
Comments: Occasionally with sporophytes. "Cicumpolar; arctic to subtropical." (Isoviita, 1966).
