Radula bolanderi

Radula bolanderi: The leaves of R. bolanderi do not overlap, therefore the stem is visible. Radula lacks underleaves which distinguished this genus from Porella and Frullania.

Southeastern Alaska Distribution: Widespread and throughout.
Habitat: Relatively common on trees, especially Alnus, near sea level (occasionally to the upper limit of the forest) near streams or the sea.
Comments: Sporophytes are not uncommon.
