Abundance: Fairly Common
Southeastern Alaska Distribution: See Map 94. Throughout. Less frequent in the southern portion of the region.
Habitat: On limbs and drier deadfall, sometimes on soil. Often over rocks in sunny to somewhat shaded sites. Also on wet peat in the bottoms of pools and of pit ponds in peatlands, occasionally submerged. Frequent in the upper forests and in the subalpine, also in the alpine.
Comments: Occasionally with sporophytes.
