  • Skinner, et al 2012: [as P. g. ssp glauca] "Native grass of high elevation and dry tundra habitats. Present in disturbed rocky areas like roadways. Often confused with P. g. ssp. rupicola and P. interior." [as P. g. ssp rupicola] "Native grass of dry rocky slopes at high elevations. Subspecies map suggests uncommon in Alaska, but the species, Poa glauca, with the exception of the Aleutian Islands is widely distributed across Alaska."
