Plagiochila semidecurrens

Plagiochila semidecurrens: Worley indicates this species occurring primarily on the outer islands (though also a record near Ketchikan). PacNW herbarium database shows a handful of collections from the outer coast (two in Sitka, three from apparently the same location in the southern outer islands).

Southeastern Alaska Distribution: See Map 86. Not uncommon in the outer islands in the “Wet Climate” zone.
Habitat: Generally in shaded sites, occasionally in partially exposed sites as an epiphyte. On humid cliffs and canyon walls, streambanks, spray of waterfalls, sometimes on rocks by lakes or by the sea.
Comments: Often with sporophytes.
