Preferred Habitats: Old Growth Forest, Riparian Forest
Micro Habitats: Moist Soil
Observed at: Indian River Valley, Indian River Trail, Totem Park

Habitat: Frequent and often abundant throughout the region on moist, humic soils, stream banks, forest floors, seepy areas, canyons, and lake shores. From sea level to the subalpine.
Comments: Frequently fertile in the spring.
