Southeastern Alaska Distribution: New to the region: East side of Marble Mountain, opposite Drake Island, Glacier Bay, Worley 11248 (collected by F. M. Boas).
Habitat: The Glacier Bay plants were growing among the gravels of the upper shore. The species is elsewhere reported from rocks, at Amchitka also in a maritime situation.
Comments: Frequently with sporophytes.
