Southeastern Alaska Distribution: New to the region. From a forested canyon on the W shore of Sawmill Bay, Excursion Inlet, Worley ???.
Habitat: The Alaskan material was on moist rock shelves in a humid, shaded canyon. The species is elsewhere known from fens, swamps and shores.
Comments: Usually with s porophytes (the Alaskan plants were fertile). The report of this species from Alaska by Worley and Iwatsuki (1970) was based upon a report by Persson from Hunker Creek, which is from the Yukon and not Alaska.
