Luidia foliolata
From Natural History of Southeast Alaska
Sand star (Luidia foliolata): Rarely found in intertidal areas - even more rarely reported because of its superficial similarity to Evasterias troscheli. It is, however, much less rigid and has thin spines along the edges of the arms that recall a more fragile version of a Pycnopodia helianthoides arm.
