Southeastern Alaska Distribution: Throughout, and probably widespread.
Habitat: Subalpine meadows, on rocks or soil over rocks, rarely on decaying wood. In Glacier Bay on outwash sands.
Comments: This species is gemmiferous and probably easily dispersed.
