Lepus americanus
From Natural History of Southeast Alaska
Snowshoe Hare (Lepus americanus): Known from the northern mainland, apparently primarily along transboundary rivers from the Taku River north (including Glacier Bay and up to Yakutat. An introduced population is present on Douglas Island.
