Southeastern Alaska Distribution: Throughout, although less frequent in the northern portions.
Habitat: In southeastern Alaska almost invariably on decaying wood, rarely on humic soil, usually in deeply shaded forest sites. Elsewhere from similar habitats, but often much more extensive.
Comments: Sporophytes have not been seen in southeastern Alaska material.
