Lasionycteris noctivagans
From Natural History of Southeast Alaska
Silver-haired Bat (Lasionycteris noctivagans): Southeast Alaska seems to be at the northern edge of this species' range and distribution in the region is poorly known. Only a few specimens have been collected from the region, including Ketchikan, Wrangell, and Petersburg. More recently, acoustic monitoring has shown they are present at Gustavus.
Local Notes
- Sitka/Lasionycteris noctivagans: At least one sight report from a wood pile on Galankin Island, but no documented observations from the area. (edit)
