Southeastern Alaska Distribution: New to the region and to Alaska. Known from four collection in Glacier Bay National Monument.
Habitat: In southeastern Alaska growing in lower subalpine meadows on soil or peaty soil among heathers. Elsewhere known from decaying wood, shady and moist places, and siliceous cliffs.
Comments: Dioicous, sporophytes not seen in southeastern Alaska.
