Scientific NameCommon NameSummary
Myriophyllum alterniflorumAlternate-flowered Water-milfoilAlthough included by Hall in her 2010 treatment, there are no records from Alaska in ARCTOS. On the other hand, the FNA map does show Alaska in the range (but not Yukon Territory nor British Columbia). Most of the overall range appears well away from Alaska, so whether this species occurs in the region is unclear. It's possible Hall's note was intended to refer to Alternate-flowered Water-milfoil (Myriophyllum farwellii), which is known from few widely disjunct locations in Alaska.
Myriophyllum farwelliiAlternate-flowered Water-milfoilCollection from Lake Eva on Baranof Island
Myriophyllum sibiricumShortspike WatermilfoilOnly four collections in ARCTOS from the region, all from the northern parts, including Chichagof Island, Haines, Juneau, and Glacier Bay (this one not georeferenced).
Myriophyllum verticillatumWhorl-leaf Water-milfoilOnly a handful of collections in ARCTOS, from near Yakutat, Haines (not georeferenced), and the Stikine River mouth.
