Salal:
Salal (Gaultheria shallon): Several collections in ARCTOS, most at or south of a line from Etolin Island to Coronation Island. Two collections from Baranof Island in the vicinity of Goddard Hot Springs.

  • Hall 2010: "Dixon Entrance north to Sitka along coast and on islands of southeastern Alaska. Understory shrub in poorly drained western red cedar-hemlock forests, meadows and shorelines. Common in southern southeastern Alaska, in scattered locations along outer coast in northern part of range."
