Southeastern Alaska Distribution: Known only from Augustine Bay (Holzinger and Frye, 1921).
Habitat: In water or spray on limestone rocks and cliffs.
Comments: Never with sporophytes. The Augustine Bay report appears to be the most northern in North America.
