Southeastern Alaska Distribution: New to the region. Known from San Juan Bautist Island, southwest of Craig, Worley and Hamilton 7266.
Habitat: The Alaskan material was growing as an extensive thin film over a steep, wet mud and sand erosion slope in a forested stream gully. The species is commonly found on barren banks.
Comments: Specimn 7266 was fertile. This collection is the northernmost record of the species.
