Diphasiastrum alpinum
From Natural History of Southeast Alaska
Alpine Clubmoss (Diphasiastrum alpinum): Small, trailing clubmoss with flattened, 4-ranked leaves infrequently found in high elevation forest and tundra and occasionally at lower elevations. In the region, it has been collected more often in the mountains from the lower part of Lynn Canal north.
Local Notes
- Sitka/Diphasiastrum alpinum: Recorded from a few locations mostly in the subalpine/alpine, but seems to be much less common than Alaskan Clubmoss (Diphasiastrum sitchense) in this area. (edit)
