Southeastern Alaska Distribution: Previously reported from only four sites (persson, 1952, 1963). Throughout.
Habitat: Most commonly in humid canyons on damp rocks and cliffs, also on moist stream banks, occasionally in mesic sites, rarely in alpine tundra.
Comments: Sporophytes have not been seen in the southeastern Alaska material, but vegetative reproduction is by deciduous leaves.
