Southeastern Alaska Distribution: Known only from Lake Lindeman (adjacent to British Columbia, near the White Pass), reported by Williams (1901); and from Cairn Ridge, NW of Juneau (Persson, 1963).
Habitat: In rock crevices and on soil over rocks, most commonly in mountainous regions.
Comments: As in the case of C. schisti this species has not been reported further south along the Pacific coast in North America than the 58th parallel, but it extends into the United States in the Rocky Mountains.
