Southeastern Alaska Distribution: Known only from: Fish Crekk, North douglas Road, Douglas Island, Worley and Boas 11626.
Habitat: On drying Sphagnum in muskeg. Elsewhere in its range the species is common among Sphagnum or on peaty soil, and occasionally on decaying wood.
Comments: The Alaskan material was fertile, with both males and sporophytes present.
