Castilleja parviflora

Mountain Paintbrush (Castilleja parviflora): Common perennial herb with showy magenta bracts found in subalpine and alpine meadows at or above treeline.
Collections in ARCTOS mostly from the northern mainland but also some scattered throughout the rest of the region.
