Southeastern Alaska Distribution: Known from Juneau (Persson, 1946), Yakutat (Stair, 1947) and Mt. Roberts (Persson and Gjaerevoll, 1961).
Habitat: Mainly in late snowbeds on moist or wet humus soils. Occasionally in dry heaths. usually in the subalpine and alpine zones.
