Southeastern Alaska Distribution: See Map 55. Restricted to the northern part of the region.
Habitat: Among bryophytes in alpine tundra, in crevices or between rocks, rarely on forest floors, in shaded or sunny sites.
Comments: The restriction of the species in southeastern Alaska to north of Icy Strait is unexpected.
