Southeastern Alaska Distribution: Known only from Sitklan, Port San Antonio, Ketchikan (Holzinger and Frye, 1921), and Juneau (Persson, 1963).
Habitat: Tufts on rocks or in rock crevices. Generally alpine, but also to near sea level in southeastern Alaska
Comments: This species is everywhere rare.
