Southeastern Alaska Distribution: Probably throughout in the alpine, but perhaps rare or absent in the southern portion.
Habitat: Rocks and cliffs in the alpine, to the summits of mountains, also in and around late snow-patch areas.
Comments: The plants are usually fertile.
