ABC Islands
From Natural History of Southeast Alaska
Admiralty Island, Baranof Island, and Chichagof Island are sometimes called the ABC Islands. They are the northern major islands in Southeast Alaska, and known in part for their high population of Brown Bear (Ursus arctos) that is genetically distinct in some ways from other populations.
